Keramari Gorge or Keramariano is the natural border between Topolia and Kalathenes, a vast expanse brimming with olive trees and great biodiversity. Its name stems from the pottery (=keramika) that were once made in that area. Natural spring waters run across it, the reason for its fertile soil. It is the gate to the prolific area of Milia, the site of the namesake settlement. Chestnut, olive and apple trees, various plants, birds and other animals are the stars in this place.
